Laminate-Faced Chipboard Surface

Our high-pressure laminate (HPL) workbench tops feature phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper layers fused to industrial-grade particleboard under 1400 psi pressure and 150°C heat. This creates an extremely abrasion-resistant surface (tested to EN 438-2 standards) with exceptional stain resistance to common laboratory chemicals, inks, and dyes. The moisture-resistant chipboard core incorporates paraffin wax additives for limited liquid exposure tolerance, while the 0.8-1.5mm thick laminate surface provides scratch protection equivalent to AC5 abrasion class. Available in solid colors (grayscale spectrum), woodgrain patterns, or static-dissipative formulations (10⁶-10⁹ ohms/sq) for ESD-protected workstations.
